Service Description

I WILL NOT TAKE NEWBORNS WHO ARE OLDER THAN THREE WEEKS OLD. I am also only taking a certain amount of newborn clients each month. Therefore, I will have to approve or decline your booking depending upon my availability. These sessions go smoothest when your baby is between 3 days - two weeks old. If your baby was born passed their due date, it may be best to get your photos done sooner rather than later. If your baby was born early (before 37 weeks), it would be best to do their photos around the one month mark. Newborn sessions typically take about 2 - 2.5 hours and are held in my private studio. This session includes: 1. Portrait photos of your baby on the beanbag (plain fabric backdrop) 2. Photos of your baby in various props, such as baskets, bowls and the furry flokati. 3. Parent + Sibling photos, if desired. Parent/sibling photos are not an additional cost. Please bring your babies pacifier, bottle or nursing accessories to this session. I have plenty of outfits and props available, but you are welcome to bring items you would like your baby to be photographed in. Please leave me a note in the booking form as to what color theme you would like your session to be for your baby. I recommend choosing colors that match your baby's nursery or your home decor if you plan on printing the photos. You will receive four digital files with this session, but will have the option to purchase more, if desired. In my studio, I have a changing table, nursing covers and filtered hot water if you are bottle feeding. I am a mom too, therefore, if there is anything I could help you with involving your baby during your session, please do not hesitate to ask! Lastly, please note that I cannot guarantee any poses or props during your session. Your baby will dictate the session and I will go along with what I feel your baby is most comfortable doing. I will never force a baby into a prop or pose that I feel is putting them in distress or harm.
